Syiah itu bukan Islam. Apa alasannya? Syiah lebih mengagungkan cucu Nabi, Hasan dan Husin, berbanding Nabi Muhammad. Mereka hanya mengakui satu daripada empat sahabat Nabi iaitu Ali bin Abu Talib. Tiga yang lain (Abu Bakar, Umar, dan Uthman) mereka benci dan hina. Ibadah mereka hanya tiga waktu: pagi, tengah hari dan petang, berbeza dengan Islam yang lima waktu. Mereka solat menggunakan batu Karbala sebagai tempat sujud sedangkan Islam tidak menggunakannya. Masih banyak lagi unsur kesyirikan yang mereka lakukan yang dilarang dalam agama Islam. Contohnya nikah mut'ah @ nikah kontrak— ia halal bagi mereka, tetapi tidak dalam Islam. Banyak perbezaan dan penyelewengan yang mereka lakukan daripada ajaran Islam.

There are many other acts of polytheism they commit which are forbidden in Islam. For example, temporary marriage (mut'ah) is considered halal for them, but not in Islam. There are many deviations from Islamic teachings in their practices.
